Lil Baby previously revealed he was charging $100,000 per verse in June 2020, although the price may have increased since. He also talked about his mindset when it comes to collaborations, admitting the process has to be organic. “I gotta hear it, man.” he explained. Atlanta rapper Lil Baby isn’t cheap and his price is well deserved, Baby is currently signed to Quality Control Music.

Snoop Dogg – $250,000 For A Verse

Snoop Dogg has been in the game headlining shows since 1993 when he dropped his infamous album “Doggystyle” which brought us the golden era of G-Funk and 90’s hip-hop. Since then, Snoop’s versatility and unique personality has allowed him to dominate decades worth of culture and music. It’s reported that Snoop said that he usually asks for up to $500,000 to hop on a song and appear in the music video. “About $250,000,” Snoop replied when the host asked about his price. “You’ll get about 16 bars. And when it’s time to do the video, I need another $250,000 up out of you.

Drake – $250,000 For A Verse

Drake is another artist whose career has stood the test of time. Everytime he drops the internet goes crazy and the man sells out arenas with every tour he does.On a snippet from an unreleased track that the rapper shared via Instagram on April 22, he said it’ll cost $250,000 for a verse. So, it’s safe to say the range is probably between the latter and the former, but no less than $250,000.

Lil Durk – $350,000 For A Verse (If He Doesn’t Know You)

If you want a verse from The Voice of The Streets its going to cost you, especially if you don’t know him personally. The Chicago native rapper reportedly charges $350,000 for a verse if he doesn’t know you. In an interview Durk said, “If I don’t know you? I ain’t gon’ lie, I gotta go $350,000. I got receipts,” Durk began, “No, listen,” he continued. “You gotta have receipts. ’Cause somebody can come up here just to lie to boost theirselves or… we got receipts.”. The OTF rapper just recently went Number #1 on the charts with his latest ‘7220’ studio album.

Nicki Minaj – $500,000 And Up For A Verse 

Nicki Minaj is another iconic rapper who has been in the game putting out hits for a decade, she reportedly charges up to $500,000 for a verse. We honestly can’t tell you how many Nicki songs have hit the BillBoard Hot 100 Charts but we’re quite sure that its enough to justify the price she’s charging for collaborations.

J Cole – $2,000 Per Word

J Cole is reported to charge $2,000 per word for a verse On the single, The London released in 2019 Cole’s verse is approximately 210 words, which by his calculations would come to $420k. On other records, Cole usually stays between 200-350 words, which could mean his price racks up to $700k. J Cole’s lyricism will ensure that his songs will be debated up in barbershops for generations to come.
