The Voice of The Streets a.k.a Lil Durk has done it again releasing his Deluxe Version of his 7th studio album ‘7220’
The new release adds an additional 14 songs to the original 17 giving you plenty more to listen to. He brings in features from the likes of Moneybagg Yo, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Doodie Lo, Est Gee, and others.
On his IG Stories, Durk wrote, “My kids picked my deluxe album I believe in they ears.”
When ‘7220’ released on March11, 2022 it became Durk’s first-ever No. 1 solo LP on the Billboard 200, moving 120,000 equivalent albums on its first week. A month after its release, it took the top spot again with 47,000 units.
7220 refers to Durk’s grandmother’s address and is also the title of a book that was published by his mother, Lashawnda Woodard, the same year of its release. When he revealed the track list of the album, he further explained that it was also a reference to his family house that he grew up in. Durk promised that the album would have “no skips” and we’d have to agree because it is an absolute banger.
