Stacey Dash is making headlines after she shared that she recently found out about the death of rapper DMX, who passed away back in 2021.

The Clueless actress shared a video on TikTok reacting to the news of the Ruff Ryder legend and how she had just started her grieving process.

“I was strolling through #tiktok and found a #DMX song that has saved me many times,” she captioned her post. “Suddenly, it says #RIP. I know I am late; I did not know he passed away; he #OD. I am heartbroken – he was such a great guy.”

Dash added, “I didn’t know. From a cocaine overdose. I am today six years and one month clean, and it breaks my heart. It breaks my heart that he lost to it. He lost to that demon of addiction. Please. Please, don’t lose.”

Several people and celebrities were confused as to why Dash wasn’t privy to the news of the Ruff Ryders’ Anthem artist and headed to the comment section of her post to share their thoughts.
