AG Radio Welcome to the best night of your life
While the world is currently focused on self-care coupled with luxury, Jhené Aiko is bringing in a new brand that highlights holistic wellness and personal healing. Known as a soulful songbird, Aiko has seamlessly transitioned her musical artistry into a line that captures her love for harmony, self-love, and spiritual well-being.
On Wednesday, the California native introduced “Jhenetics” on social media through a captivating promo clip. In the video, Aiko sets the tone for a peaceful self-care session. In the beginning, Aiko carefully selects a book before prepping a relaxing bath with Jhenetics’ signature bath soak. The scene then transitions to Aiko turning on her “Sleep Soul” album and glancing at her new products, blending her soothing music with the calming products featured in her line.
The name “Jhenetics” is a combination of Aiko’s first name and the word “genetics,” which suggests that one of the brand’s core beliefs is nurturing yourself through “ancestral wisdom” and mindful practices. According to the brand’s website, Jhenetics is “rooted in the ancestral wisdom passed down to us through generations, supported by nature and backed by science.”
As of now, the brand includes an array of elixirs, body balms, lotion, and bath soaks. Available with CBD and THC blends, these products are designed to relieve stress, promote balance, and create a sense of calm for both mind and body.
“We present Jhenetics hemp-infused products with thoughtfully selected ingredients designed to support relaxation, balance, and overall well-being,” she wrote in the caption of the social media post.
The release of Jhenetics doesn’t come as a surprise, especially since Aiko has always advocated for self-care. In 2019, the “Souled Out” singer got candid during an interview about her self-care routines and how she stays stress-free.
“A lot of people ask me if I meditate, and to me meditation isn’t taking five minutes out of the day to sit by yourself in solitary,” she said at the time. “I’ve found that it’s really a state of being. It’s more about mindful living and making sure that you’re constantly checking up on breath and breathing deeply.”
She added, “I’ve worked conscious deep breathing into my skincare and self-care routine throughout the day. When I was younger and got my first facial, the aesthetician asked me did I breathe. She’s the one that actually told me you should do breathing exercises throughout the day because so many breakouts are caused from stress.”
